ESTESS Rules and Regulations:
Regulation:
Only annual registration and payment.
No refund will be given in the event of injury, illness or withdrawal during the season.
All basic lessons are 55 minutes.
COURT RULES: Kids School
Your child needs to wear sport clothes (shorts or pants with pockets that will fit a tennis ball or a tennis skirt) and sport shoes, and bring their rackets and water bottle to each training session. If they bring a snack please make it healthy! No junk food on the court.
Please understand that the class lasts 55 minutes (with 5 minutes to ensure that the coach can speak with parents if needed and can prepare the court to start each class on time).
For the Ball & Racket program when kids need to use the restroom, if there is no parent available to take the child then the coach will take all the children together to the restroom. Please make sure your child uses the restroom before the class to try and avoid this!
Please be on time for pick up! For the Ball & Racket program if you are late for pick up the coach will have your child sit on a bench on the court (if the coach will remain on that court for another hour). If another ESTESS coach will have a class on your child's court then you child will also stay on the bench on the court. If no ESTESS coach will be on your child's court for the next hour then you can find your child on the couches next to the 11-15 court-side. We cannot accept responsibility for your child after the class has finished, however, we will do everything possible to keep an eye on him/her until you arrive.
If your child is misbehaving or disrupting the class, ESTESS coaches will be creative in trying every possible pedagogic solution to achieve good and productive behavior, but if the disruptions continue we have various disciplinary measures (to be assessed by the coach) which include:
1) Time out on the bench
2) Working on ball control or fitness exercises apart from the group
3) Calling the parent
4) Sending the child off court (to the parent)
And for extreme cases, ESTESS does reserve the right to suspend a child for a time or permanently from tennis practice.
